Sailing is a team sport and the more people we can get out on the
water, the more fun everyone will have. If you would like to come
sailing, please let me know.
If we have room on Rambunctious, and we will often, you're welcome
aboard. If not, then there are many other boats that will be delighted to
have you out. We can put you in touch.
You do not need any sailing experience to enjoy and take part in
sailboat racing. While racing is technical and challenging, crew spots
can be as simple as being "railmeat": sitting on the sidedecks and
using your weight to keep the boat flat and fast. If you are a sailing vet
looking to get back on the water or a visitor to New Orleans that needs
a sailing fix, then we'll do what we can to get you out there.
