RACING
J/30 Rambunctious Home, J/30 sailboat #280
The Bastille Day Regatta, which will be held this upcoming Saturday, will be the first J/30 one design
race on Lake Pontchartrain since 2005. It will also be the first race for Rambunctious. We'll be racing
against some very experienced J/30 sailors. I'll still post the results here, however ugly they might be. I
am praying for a healthy dose of beginner's luck, though.

Regardless of the results, it should be a great time. Four of the Northshore boats will be sailing to New
Orleans together Friday evening and we'll be tying up alongside at least one Southshore boat in the
New Orleans Municipal harbor. It should be a strong statement on the resurgence of J/30 sailing on
Lake Pontchartrain.

during the light air second weekend of LPRC 2007. We round at about 5:30 on the video.
